About Artist 

Hi, my name is Mika Barnier. I am a Milwaukee-based Artist currently obtaining my BFA in Illustration at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design.

 The work that I create is a mixture of stylized realism, line work, and patterns. I work in both traditional and digital mediums, usually beginning my artistic process with a traditional sketch, and then further developing the work digitally. When I create a traditional piece I am drawn to color pencils, and acrylic paint, and a new addition I discovered is oil paint.
